About MarDruk

We started in 2012 in a studio flat in Andrychów — as a trading company that sold other people's film and outsourced all its printing and conversion. Today we feature in the Financial Times 1000 fastest-growing companies in Europe: 7,000 m² of production, our own plate-making, a laboratory and patented antibacterial packaging. No investor, no corporation — just the determination that's in our blood.

About MarDruk

It started in a studio flat

That one room in a block of flats in Andrychów was our entire back office — a desk, a computer, a company calendar on the wall and an office printer tucked away in a cupboard. Back then we traded in film and outsourced production — but the best thing we did for ourselves was to get to know the market from exactly the side the customer sees it: what frustrates them, what they're waiting for and what they'll actually pay for. In 2015 we decided to rebrand and start building the company of our dreams — there were just 3 of us at the time. A year later the first print runs of our own began, on a rented machine in a rented hall in Górki Wielkie: we stopped being a middleman, and our offer reached wider markets, in Poland and abroad. We grew from 12 people to 170, putting every złoty we earned into the next machine, the next hall and the next technology. That journey — from middleman to our own plant with a state-of-the-art fleet of printing machines, film-finishing machines, a laboratory and our own coating line — taught us one thing: growth only makes sense when it translates into quality and on-time delivery for the customer.

A partner, not an anonymous supplier

Technology consulting, artwork support, printing, lamination, conversion, warehousing and delivery — all under one roof in Andrychów. We won't pass you to a subcontractor or hide behind a call centre: you get one phone number to a technologist who knows your product, and one invoice for the whole thing. With our own plate-making, the job reaches the machine faster and we make corrections on the spot — no waiting on an outside firm.

Why customers stay for years

Because repeatability can be proven, not just promised. Our laboratory scrutinises every batch — colour, seal, barrier — and a certified proof before printing removes any surprises on the run. Suppliers to the largest retail chains stay with us because a BRC audit graded AA+ opens doors for them, and print quality sells their product off the shelf.

Why customers stay for years

Competing is in our blood

We built our strong position through determination and constant technological progress — expanding the machine fleet, a growing team and our own industrial research from which new products are born. In the breakthrough year of 2020, sales rose 89% year on year, investment by 184% and headcount by 45%. We're not easing off: we look for solutions that give customers an edge on the shelf, and we bring them to market among the first to do so.

Our journey — from film trading to the FT 1000

2012

Started in a studio flat in Andrychów — distributing plain and printed film, with all production outsourced. We got to know the market through the customer's eyes.

2015

The decision that changed everything — a rebrand and the start of building the company of our dreams. There were 3 of us then. We stopped thinking like a middleman and began planning our own production.

2016

Our first in-house print runs on a rented machine and in a rented hall in Górki Wielkie — there were 12 of us then. We stopped being a middleman and started printing, including for export.

2019

A move from Górki Wielkie to our own plant at Krakowska 83c in Andrychów, now with two printing machines from the Kraków Technology Park. In October, our first BRC Packaging certificate.

2020

A third printing machine on the floor. BRC v6 recertification with an AA+ grade, AIB International (US market), ISO 9001/14001/45001. Sales +89%, investment +184%, headcount +45% year on year. The Good Company — Innovator emblem and Business Gazelles.

2021

A fourth printing machine. Patented packaging with an antibacterial and antiviral layer — effective against SARS-CoV-2 too (application P.436519). A second consecutive Business Gazelle and entry into the Financial Times 1000.

2023

A fifth printing machine and one of the most modern coating lines in Central and Eastern Europe — for demanding eco applications and mono-materials. From this point we are ready for mono-materials and PPWR requirements. The start of the FENG project for next-generation barrier packaging, plus expansion of the machine fleet and photovoltaics.

2024

Launch of our own photopolymer plate-making — full independence in prepress: from imaging to curing, corrections on the spot and plates on the machine faster.

2026

We launch film macro-perforation for our customers, and the team grows to 170 people (in 2016 there were 12 of us). Two older printing machines are being replaced with new ones. Today we are a full-service manufacturer of flexible packaging: HD flexographic printing up to 150 LPI, lamination, converting, BOPP/OPP/CPP/PET films and laminates — from artwork to pallet, across 7,000 m² of production and with a 13,000-pallet warehouse.

Four things we never cut corners on

Independence

Our own plate-making, laboratory and machine fleet. We do not depend on subcontractors — and you do not wait on them with us.

Repeatability

A proof before printing and inspection of every batch. The second run looks exactly like the first — because we have it measured.

Safety

BRC AA+, AIB and migration testing. Your food packaging is tested before it ever leaves the plant.

Development

Over PLN 50 million in technology and EU-funded R&D projects. Mono-materials and PPWR will not surprise us or you.
