Frequently asked questions

The questions we hear from customers most often — about run sizes, lead times, files and customer-supplied material. Yours not here? Call us and a technologist will answer straight away.

What is the minimum run?
It depends on the construction, but thanks to our own plate-making and a flexible machine fleet we also handle short and medium runs that are uneconomical at larger printers. It is best to send an enquiry with the product and the planned volume — a technologist will tell you the run size at which a quote makes sense and suggest the optimal format.
How long does an order take?
We send the quote back within 24 working hours. Production time depends on the structure (printing, lamination, slitting, converting) and the queue, but we plan it with you at the quotation stage and give a firm date — not 'roughly'. Repeat orders are faster, because we already hold the plates and the colour profile.
What format should I prepare the artwork in?
Ideally vector (PDF, AI, EPS) with text converted to curves, in CMYK, with Pantone colours specified as spot colours and with bleeds and the seal position marked. We will technically adapt your finished artwork for flexographic printing. Send files to grafika@mardrukopakowania.pl.
Will I get a sample or proof before printing?
Yes. Before every run we prepare a certified proof (Epson, ISO 12647-2) that simulates the final colour result — you approve it before production starts. For new constructions, material samples for testing on your packing line are also possible.
Do you print and convert customer-supplied material?
Yes — we carry out flexographic printing, lamination, slitting and macro-perforation up to 1000 mm on film supplied by the customer too. Just agree the parameters and the method of material delivery.
What materials and structures do you offer?
BOPP (clear, matt, white, pearl, metallised), CPP CAST, PET, PE, anti-fog and heat-seal films — from a 13,000-pallet warehouse. From these we build two- and three-ply laminates: barrier, high-barrier, for tray sealing, and mono-material MarEco (MONO PP / MONO PE) ready for PPWR requirements.
Is the packaging suitable for food contact?
Yes. We have our own laboratory and migration testing, and quality is confirmed by BRC Packaging certificates graded AA+, AIB International and ISO 9001/14001/45001. For food packaging we provide the declarations of compliance required in retail-chain audits.
Do you deliver finished orders?
Yes. We store the goods in a 13,000-pallet warehouse and deliver exactly when you need them — including in batches, in a model close to just-in-time. We arrange the logistics individually at the order stage.
Is your packaging compliant with the upcoming PPWR requirements?
Yes — we are developing MarEco mono-materials (MONO PP and MONO PE) that are recyclable in existing streams and answer the PPWR requirements. For every laminate we give the percentage material composition, which makes reporting and structure selection for recycling targets easier. A technologist selects the specific structure for your product.
What print decorations and finishes do you offer?
We print flexographically in HD up to 150 lpi, and we match the finish to the shelf effect: metallised and pearl films, matt and gloss variants, and thanks to our own coating line we apply functional coatings (barrier, heat-seal and anti-fog, among others). We confirm the colour result with a proof before production.
How do you ensure colour repeatability on repeat orders?
We keep the colour profiles and plates in-house, so repeats start from the same point. We control colour in the laboratory, and you approve the benchmark on a certified proof to ISO 12647-2 — so successive batches match the first.
What types of packaging and constructions do you make?
We make, among others, doypacks (stand-up, with a valve, window or zip), flat and zip bags, flow-pack packaging, film in reels for packing machines, and laminates for tray sealing. We match the construction to the product, the packing line and the display.
What do the commercial terms and payment conditions look like?
We agree the cooperation and commercial terms — including payment and the delivery schedule — individually at the order stage. At first contact, your account manager will match the cooperation model to the scale and frequency of your orders.
